There are 4 main features of the iEd Program: The iEd Classroom, iEd Café, iEd Online, and the Immersion Field Trip.
The iEd Classroom is an online classroom where students can see, hear, talk to and engage with instructors.
The iEd Café is a mobile language lab where students can call and listen to class recordings of vocabulary words, stories, grammar exercises and more. To practice pronunciation, students can record themselves and also compare their recording with a native English speaker's.
iEd Online is the student account that has class handouts, quiz material, class videos, and other learning resources for students. It also has encouragement messages and awards from instructors as well as a forum where students can talk with each other about learning English.
The Immersion Field Trip is the most unique feature of the iEd program. Students can visit famous locations in North America and Europe and use their English skills in a live situation. Students can even talk with locals on the street and ask them questions about life in that area.
